How to Connect a Samsung Blackjack to a Wireless Router

Connect to a wireless Internet connection with your cell phone.

The Samsung Blackjack is a smaller version of the popular BlackBerry mobile smartphone. The phone comes with a variety of features, including Wi-Fi access. This allows you to connect to a wireless router. However, you must first enable the wireless connection on the phone before it is capable of connecting to the Wi-Fi signal.

Instructions

1. Power on the Samsung Blackjack and wait for the device to completely load.

2. Choose "Menu" and click the "Setup" option. Select "Set up Wi-Fi." The cell phone now scans for any available wireless networks in the area. Momentarily a list of all the networks, including the one created by your wireless router, appears on the screen.

3. Select the Wi-Fi network of your wireless router, then type in the password (if required). The Samsung Blackjack now connects to the wireless signal created by your wireless router.
