How to Properly Clean Leather
When it comes to caring for your leather items, you must know how to properly clean them. Leather is a durable material, but can also be ruined when you use harsh chemicals or similar items that are too abrasive for the leather surface. You will want to use a cleaning agent plus add in a moisturizing element that prevents the leather from becoming overly dry, which causes cracking. Mix one part vinegar to two parts linseed oil in a small bowl to clean the entire leather surface you wish to treat.

Dab a cloth in the mixture and rub into the leather.

Let a small layer of the cleaning solution reside on the leather overnight.

Wipe down the leather the next day with a clean cloth to remove the leftover cleaner. This will help nourish the leather as well as clean and disinfect.
