Windows Live Messenger is a free instant messaging client from Microsoft. It offers text messaging, voice calling if you have a microphone, and video calling if you have a webcam set up. The ability to rotate video 90 degrees, clockwise or counterclockwise, during a video call was added to the Windows Live Messenger client in 2006. This feature can be used during any video call.

Instructions

      Start the Windows Live Messenger client installed on your computer. The web messenger version does not have advanced features.

      Click on a contact and select "Start video call."

      Click on one of the MSN video rotations at the bottom of your conversation window. These buttons will rotate the video 90 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise.
