DIY: Laminate Floor Cleaner

Clean laminate with glass cleaner.

A do-it-yourself approach is often the best option to consider when cleaning laminate floors, as commercial cleaners often cost more than your budget allows plus contain harmful chemical ingredients. Cleaning the laminate floors on your own allows you to control the elements introduced to your home, and save money while still cleaning the laminate properly. Use inexpensive cleaning items that you already have in the home to complete this cleaning task.

Things You'll Need

• Dust mop Cleaning mop Bucket Water Vinegar Glass cleaner

Instructions

1. Sweep the laminate floors with a dust mop to lift off any loose buildup.

2. Pour one-quarter cup white vinegar and one gallon of warm water in a bucket.

3. Dip your regular cleaning mop in the bucket, squeeze out the mop firmly until no water drips off of the mop. Wipe it across your laminate floors.

4. Spray a glass cleaner onto the laminate occassionally, and wipe it off with a damp mop. Let the laminate floors air dry.
