How to Install Cabinet Hardware Pulls
Installing cabinet pulls will increase the functionality of your cabinets. Cabinet pulls make opening the door and drawers easier and add a custom look. Different types of pulls are available depending on your style. These pulls can be purchased from any home improvement store. Place a small amount of masking tape on the front side of the door where you will be drilling.

Measure the pulls to determine the hole spacing, using a tape measure.

Mark a line where the holes will be drilled, using a tape measure and a pencil. Always double-check your measurement before drilling holes.

Drill the holes in the cabinet door, using a power drill and a drill bit. You'll probably need a 3/16-inch bit. Some cabinet pulls may require a different size drill bit. Drill through the wood slowly to keep the wood from chipping.

Remove the masking tape from the cabinet door.

Place the screws that came with the pulls into the holes previously drilled on the back side of the cabinet door. Place the cabinet pull into position and tighten the screws, using a power drill.

Repeat these steps with the remaining cabinet pulls.
