If your Kenmore washer will not spin, replace your lid switch.

Kenmore washers are sold exclusively by Sears, either through its brick-and-mortar stores, website or catalogs. Kenmore is a brand name, not an actual manufacturer. The washers are manufactured by other major appliance brands, either Whirlpool or Frigidaire. Regardless of which manufacturer they are made by, Kenmore washers have always had a reputation of being built to last, and are sold with a one-year warranty. A Kenmore 70 Series washer that agitates but will not spin needs to have the lid switch replaced. If your warranty has expired, you can save money by replacing it yourself. Does this Spark an idea?
