      Pour baking soda over the entire nail polish stain on your carpet. Allow the baking soda to sit on the nail polish for 10 minutes to absorb the liquid. Using an absorbent, like baking soda, allows you to remove nail polish substance without spreading it further into the carpet fibers.

      Vacuum up the baking soda and the nail polish that's been soaked up with the vacuum hose.
