How to Create Your Own Wedding Photo Album

Instructions

1. Print out your own photos from the wedding or obtain photos from family and friends. If the photos were taken with a digital camera, it is simple to print out the photos at your local photo center or with your printer. If you hired a professional photographer, ask for the proofs from the photographs he took and use the proofs to make your photo album. This will significantly reduce the cost of creating an album. Pay to print out your favorite photos professionally.

2. Organize your photos into themes from the day, such as the reception, family members or church ceremony. This will make it easier to plan your scrapbook layouts.

3. Design each page of the wedding scrapbook around a central theme or photos. Use patterned cardstock and craft embellishments, such as stickers and stamps, to adorn the pages. Attach the photos with acid-free glue so the photos are not damaged by the glue. Repositionable craft glue dots are the easiest scrapbooking glue to work with. Add mementos from the day such as wedding invitations, the wedding program and custom-printed napkins.

4. Attach lace around the edges of the front and back covers for some extra flair.
