1
Pick a spot in your home for your rock waterfall. This location can be anywhere you'd like. Remember that water can splash out from your waterfall, so the location must be a place that you don't mind getting a little damp from time to time. Avoid overfilling the catch basin to keep the splashing to a minimum.
-
2
Place the container you plan to use for the catch basin in your desired location. The container can be ceramic, metal or even a decorative bowl. The material doesn't matter, as long as it is water resistant. Place the submersible pump into the container and connect the water line to it.

3
Place the waterfall weir into the basin. A weir is a wall or structure from which the water falls, and can be found at online retailers such as Amazon or any home store. Choose a style that suits the decor of your indoor waterfall. Once you've placed the weir into the basin, connect the other end of the water line to it.

4
Place the rocks into the basin so that they discreetly cover the submersible pump and the water line. Place rocks on the weir as well, giving your waterfall a natural look.
-
5
Fill the basin with water and plug in the submersible pump. Enjoy your new indoor rock waterfall!
