How to Convert INR to GBP
Foreign currency exchange rates are the amount one currency is worth in another currency. Foreign currency exchange rates constantly fluctuate. Find the current foreign currency exchange rate. Go to X-Rates.com or a similar online currency exchange rate site. Select "Indian Rupee" from the "Table" drop-down menu, then click "Go." Find "British Pound" under "1 INR." This is the current foreign currency exchange rate. For example, as of July 2010, 1 Indian Rupee equals 0.0140832 British Pounds. The 0.0140832 British Pounds is the foreign currency exchange factor.

Determine the amount of Indian Rupees you have that you want to convert. In the example, a person has 500 Indian Rupees.

Multiply the amount of Indian Rupees you have by the foreign currency exchange factor. In the example, 500 Indian Rupees times 0.0140832 pounds equals 7.0416 British Pounds.
