Instructions

    • 1

Determine the vertical distance from the bottom horizontal edge of the door to the top horizontal edge using a tape measure, and record this dimension as the door’s height.

    • 2

Measure the horizontal distance from the outside vertical edge of the door to the opposite vertical edge and record this dimension as the door’s width.

    • 3

Measure the horizontal dimension across the door’s edge from one door face to the opposite door face and record this dimension as the door’s thickness.

    • 4

Open the door fully and measure the distance from the top edge of the door to the center point of the upper hinge and record this dimension.

    • 5

Repeat Step 4 for the remaining one or two hinges and record these center-line measurements.

    • 6

Hook the end of the tape measure on the edge of the door, just below the door knob, and measure the center line of the door knob. Record this dimension as the lock setback to complete the measurements needed to order your replacement door.
