How to Print a W-2 in Peachtree

Peachtree is an accounting software suite. As part of Peachtree's software suite, it allows users to maintain their employee records. This is important because each year, a business must file Form W-2 with their employees and with the Internal Revenue Service. As Peachtree allows the company to track the information on Form W-2, it also allows the user to either print Form W-2 or to e-file Form W-2.

Instructions

1. Click "Employees & Payroll," then "Forms" and then "Federal Forms" from the Dashboard.

2. Select "YEAR W-2" from the "Payroll Tax Form Selector." Replace YEAR with the year you want to print. Select the year you want to print under "Filing period" and click "OK." Click "Next."

3. Verify the information is correct on the next several screens. Answer the questions on the "Data Verification" screen. The questions are yes or no questions related to your employees. Verify the data of all the employees and then click "Next."

4. Check the forms you want to print. Click "Next," then "Next" again. Select "Print Final." A wizard will then appear walking you through the final printing process.
