How to Connect Creative Sound Blaster With a USB

Creative Sound Blaster manufactures a variety of computer audio devices, including headphones and headsets that provide multichannel sound through a USB cable connection. The devices come with software that enables the computer to communicate with the system. Headsets are equipped with an in-line volume control built into the USB cable for quick audio adjustments. Installing the software takes a few minutes, and connecting the hardware to a PC or laptop takes only a few seconds.

• Computer running Windows Vista or higher, with a CD-ROM drive

Instructions

1. Open the computer's CD-ROM drive, then place the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi installation CD in the tray. Wait a moment for the CD to begin playing automatically.

2. Install the software and drivers by clicking the on-screen prompt buttons to advance through the installation. Restart the computer when prompted.

3. Insert the USB plug on the end of the Creative Sound Blaster cable into any available USB port on the computer; the computer will recognize the connection once the software is installed.
