Use a stud finder to locate two studs across from each other on each side of the room. Use a step ladder and mark the stud locations 2 inches from the ceiling.
-
2
Screw a heavy-duty hook into each of the studs at the marks you made 2 inches from the ceiling. Screw them in until all you see is the hook sticking out of the wall. This will secure these big hooks deeply into the studs. If by chance the studs aren't straight across from each other, use a threaded drywall anchor on one wall. Punch a small hole through the drywall with an awl. Use a screwdriver to screw the anchor into the drywall, with the head flush to the wall. Screw the hook into the anchor.

Cut a piece of aircraft wire 2 feet longer than the width from hook to hook so that you have 12 inches to work with extra on each end of the wire. Tie one end of the wire to a turnbuckle, twisting and tying the wire back on itself to secure it. Put the turnbuckle on one wall hook. Put the other end of the wire in the other turnbuckle. Put the second turnbuckle in the opposite wall hook. Pull the wire as tightly as possible. Then twist the wire and tie it back on itself. Now turn the turnbuckles until the wire is very tight and won't sag.

Put the curtain hanging clips on the wire. to use curtain clips, press the circle together so that the pressure clip opens. Slide the top of a curtain into the clip. When you release the circle, the clips grabs and holds onto the curtain. You can find them in packs of 12 at most home department stores. You need about five clips per curtain panel.

Purchase ready-made curtain panels, 4 feet wide by 8 feet long, in a light cotton or sheer material. Buy enough to cover the width of the room, from hook to hook, plus two extra panels. Carefully stand on the step ladder and clip the panels panels into the curtain clips. Open and close the curtain room divider as you needs change.
