How to Make Fast Money in Fallout 3
A survival horror role playing game for PC and console systems, Fallout 3 presents a multitude of horrifying mutants and other scary opponents. The setting is post-apocalyptic Washington D.C., and you're on a mission to discover the secret of what's going on with John Henry and the other weirdness that is about. Once you escape from your vault, you have to survive, and that means saving your money, or pop caps, and trading with merchants and locals throughout the game. Getting money fast in Fallout 3 is important to defeating the game.

Collect every piece of inventory and junk you can gather during your beginning missions in the vault.

Venture straight to the establishment of Megaton, which is the first town you come upon after leaving the vault.

Locate the merchant outside of the walls of Megaton. Sell every bit of goods you have on you, aside from your weaponry. The amount of pop caps you receive varies on the amount of goods you manage to gather and sell.

Raise your experience points on speech and bartering after you're first prompted to level up after entering the gates of Megaton. Leveling up on speech and bartering allows for easy persuasion of higher payout when selling goods.

Use a cheat code to help give your wallet a boost. One such cheat code is GODMODE, which can be entered via the cheats menu. "GODMODE" gives you unlimited strength for carrying inventory and allows you to find pop caps on every corpse.
