Renting a RV in Arizona for a family trip is an economical option for large families.

Renting a RV for travel and vacations is rapidly gaining in popularity. Arizona is a western state with multiple locations to explore by traveling in an RV such as the Grand Canyon and all of its wonders or the natural splendor of Sedona. You can rent RVs in various sizes to accommodate families from small to large. To rent an RV you will need to have a valid driver's license and be over the age of 25.

Instructions

    • 1

Contact a local Arizona RV rental company. Ask for the policies and fees for rentals. Some RV companies limit the time you can rent a RV or limit the miles you can travel. If traveling outside of Arizona, make sure this is allowed.

    • 2

Visit the RV rental company, in person, to view the RVs. While you will not be viewing the exact RV you will rent, you will see the sizes and quality of the RVs the company rents out.

    • 3

Decide on the Arizona RV rental company you feel will work best for you. Generally, RV companies require a deposit to be placed on the rental. Pay your deposit and reserve your rental for the time frame needed.

Tips & Warnings

  • Make sure the RV is fully functioning before leaving the parking lot. Check all lights, make sure the oven and refrigerator works and water is running. Most RV rental companies will give you quick tips on how to drive an RV.

  • If you have never drove a large vehicle, practice driving the RV in an open area before hitting the open road.
