How to Remove Mildew Odor From Fabrics
Mildew--like mold--is a fungus that thrives in locations that are dark, damp and humid. Mildew feeds of the surface it is growing on and can damage and the stain the item. Not only is mildew unsightly, but it also gives off a musty odor. Even if you have removed all traces of the mildew from fabric and clothing, you may still smell that unpleasant odor. The mildew odor can become trapped in the fibers of the fabric and last for days, weeks and even months after you have removed the mildew. Does this Spark an idea?
