Instructions

    • 1

Using a plastic scraper, remove as much of the vomit from your leather surface as you can. Scoop the vomit into a trash bag and discard.

    • 2

Pour pet odor neutralizer with enzymes over the site of the vomit stain on your leather. Even if the vomit came from a person and not a pet, use pet odor neutralizer because the enzymes will break down and absorb the bacteria in the vomit that are the source of the unpleasant odor. If the neutralizer becomes wet from the vomit liquid, brush it off and add a new application.

    • 3

Allow the pet odor neutralizer to sit on your leather surface for a few hours. The powder will wick up any stain liquid as it absorbs the odor. Brush the neutralizer off your leather surface and throw it away.

    • 4

Wash your leather surface with a solution made of two capfuls of saddle soap mixed into a bucket of warm water. Scrub the pores of the leather to remove any residual vomit. Rinse the leather by wiping it with a clean cloth dampened in plain water.

Moisturize your leather surface with a good leather moisturizer. Leather that is moisturized regularly will not absorb stains as quickly as dry leather.

  • Old vomit stains that have had time to soak into the pores of the leather can be removed with repeated cleaning processes.
