Instructions

    • 1

Use soap and water to clean the area on your skin where you would like to apply the tattoo. It is best to pick a location that is on the upper part of your body and will not be rubbed by clothing.

    • 2

Cut out the border that lines your tattoo--this will make the tattoo placement easier.

    • 3

Carefully remove the clear, protective cover from the tattoo.

    • 4

Press the tattoo onto your desired location. Take a damp washcloth and begin dabbing the backside of the tattoo.

    • 5

Press down with the washcloth for about 40 seconds and make sure that it is completely covered with moisture. The size of the tattoo will dictate how long it will take to transfer the tattoo to your skin and how long the damp washcloth will need to stay on the tattoo.

    • 6

Slowly remove the backside of the tattoo paper. Your new fake tattoo will have a very wet look to it. Avoid moving or being active while the tattoo is drying; this should take no more than two minutes.

Tips & Warnings

  • To remove your temporary tattoo, rub the covered area with a little baby oil and rinse it off. Your tattoo will last about one to three days, but will usually look its best on the first day that you apply it.

  • Do not apply temporary tattoos near or around your eye area.

Here's a tip: apply a thin layer of baby powder to the temporary tattoo after you apply it. It'll last longer because the adhesive won't get sticky and rub off. Great instructions!
