How to Replace a Faucet Valve Cartridge
Cartridge faucets are commonly used to control the water supply in sinks. The top of the cartridge is attached to the faucet’s handle via a single screw. Rotating the screw causes several holes within the body of the faucet to align with the faucet housing and direct water out of the faucet’s spout. Along the length of the cartridge are rubber O-rings. When these rings wear out, the faucet leaks. Fortunately, replacing a cartridge faucet valve takes only a few minutes. Does this Spark an idea?
