Plant tiger lily bulbs to add color to your lawn or garden.

Tiger lilies grow from bulbs rather than seeds. A single bulb can produce more than a dozen tiger lilies if you plant them properly. A tiger lily can reach 4 feet in height, producing white, yellow, orange or red flowers, each with black spots. The plant grows best in USDA hardiness zones 2 to 7. They should be planted early enough in fall to allow time for rooting before the arrival of winter. Does this Spark an idea?
