How to Get a Business License in Northampton County, Pennsylvania
Northhampton County is located on the eastern edge of Pennsylvania. It is made of two main cities: Bethleham and Easton, the latter of which serves as the county seat, as well as multiple boroughs and townships. Business licenses in Northhampton County are issued at the city, borough and township levels as opposed to having a unified licensing procedure at the county level.

Locate the local government center in the city, borough or township where you business is located. These government centers are often called “City Halls” or “Borough Councils” in most locations throughout Northhampton County.

Request a business license application. Most towns within Northhampton County do not provide online services or printable business license applications. This means that you will need to obtain a paper, hard copy form of the business license application from your local government center. You may also call to request to have the form mailed to you.

Complete the business license application form. Most forms request information about your business such as its name, owners, address, phone number, Federal Employer Identification Number, the type of legal entity and a brief description of the business’s activities. Sign and date your form. If filing fees are required, they will be stated directly on the application.
