How to Fix the Thesaurus in Office 2007

      Click “Start,” type “regedit” in the Search box and press “Enter.”

      Double-click the “HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT” folder to expand it on the Registry Editor window that opens.

      Double-click the “Installer” folder below the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder.

      Double-click the “Components” folder below the Installer folder.

      Click the “54BE92CC2CB71D119A12000A9CE1A22A” folder below the Components folder, and click the “Delete” key on your keyboard.

      Click “Start,” and click “Control Panel.”

      Double-click the “Program and Features” icon on the Control Panel window that opens.

      Click to select “Microsoft Office 2007” from the displayed list of programs installed on your computer, and click “Change.”

      Click to select the “Add or Remove Features” radio button on the dialog box that opens, and click “Continue.”

      Right-click on “Office Shared Features,” click “Not Available” and select “Continue.”

      Click “Close.”

    • 12

      Insert the Microsoft Office 2007 setup CD in the CD drive of your computer. Repeat Steps 8 and 9.

      Right-click on “Office Shared Features,” select “Run all from My Computer” and click “Continue.”
