How to Design a Custom Bridal Dress
The wedding dress is often one of the most important aspects of the "big day" for brides. Every bride wants to look gorgeous, as all eyes will be on her, and for some that means having a one-of-a-kind dress. Designing a dress requires ideas, a clear understanding of what looks good on you and fabric selection knowledge. Look through bridal magazines and online bridal sites. Tear out or print photos of dresses you like. Look at all the small details and pull out photos of even the tiniest features you are drawn to.

Go to a bridal salon and try on several different dresses. Have a friend accompany you and take photos so you can see yourself in the various styles and images to reference later.

Examine your favorite elements from different dresses and piece together the images. You may need to print off the photos you took to be able to do this. Cut and paste the elements together to get a rough idea of what your dream dress could look like.

Create a couple of sample dress designs. Study them until you decide which one is your favorite.

Visit Wedding Dress Creator (listed in the Resources section) and create your dream dress with the dress creator software. Print off the images. Take these photos to your seamstress to have your dress made.
