How to Clean Bathroom Shower Tiles

Shower tiles can harbor mold and soap scum thanks to the moisture present in the bathroom. Cleaning shower tiles does not have to be a tough job--there are many tools available to make shower cleaning a breeze. Use a scrubber with a long handle to reach high areas. Make the tiles and grout shine with a tub and tile cleaner.

Things You'll Need

• Scrubber, with handle
• Tub and tile cleaner
• Cup
• Bleach cleaner (optional)
• Towel

Instructions

1. Open a window or door in the bathroom. Turn on the exhaust fan if you have one.

2. Spray the shower tiles with tub and tile cleaner in vertical sections. Allow the cleaner to sit for five to 10 minutes.

3. Scrub the shower tiles with a wet scrubber, starting from the top and working your way down.

4. Fill a cup with water and pour it down the tiles to rinse away the cleaner.

5. Spray the grout with bleach cleaner if it still appears dingy or dirty. Allow the bleach to sit for five to 10 minutes to remove any stains.

6. Rinse the tiles with a cup of water and dry the shower with a towel.
