However, once you have spotted a mistake in your signature, you will have to change it to avoid embarrassment or give misinformation. Whether adding a new phone number or changing your name, correcting your email signature could keep you from missing important calls and correspondence. Learn how to change your email signature quickly so you can add personalized messages or funny graphics.

      Log into your email account. Click on to the link that says, “Options.” If using Hotmail, you will have to click again on “More Options.”

      Click on the heading that reads “Customize” or “Personalize.” Scroll down the list until you come to “Personal Email Signature.”

      Select the text you wish to correct by moving the cursor over and highlighting it. Hit the “Backspace” key.

      Replace the text with the correct information. Use the toolbar to change the font type, name and color.Click on the tab that reads “Save.”
