How to Get Organized When You Don't Have the Time
In many cases, it does take time to get yourself organized, but that does not always have to be the case. It is possible to get organized when you only have a limited amount of time available. The important thing is to set a goal and take one step at a time toward that goal, even if you can only spend a few minutes each day. After a few weeks, those few minutes at a time will add up and you will find that you can get organized when you don't think you have the time. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Create a list of organization goals that you would like to achieve. Keep your goals as specific as possible. For instance, rather than write "organize the kitchen," break that down into "organize the silverware drawer," "organize the spice cabinet," etc. Keep your list handy so that you can add to it as more organization goals arise.
-
2
Choose one goal at a time to work toward and do not start working on another goal until the first one is accomplished.
-
-
3
Set aside as much time as you can spare each day to work toward your goal, even if it is just five minutes at a time.
-
4
Spend the entire amount of time that you have set aside working on your organization project. Set a timer if you have to. When your allotted time is up, stop working.
-
5
Continue working whenever you have even a few minutes to spare. When you have completed a task from your list, check it off and move on to the next task.

Tips & Warnings
It is important to keep a positive attitude and celebrate every small step that you take toward your goals. Don't be discouraged if it takes you two weeks to complete a project that you feel could have been done in a day. Celebrate the fact that you are working toward success and just keep taking one step at a time toward achieving your goals.
