Non-Toxic Way to Clean Granite

Dust the granite with a dry dish cloth regularly.

Run a dish cloth under hot water, wring out the cloth and wipe across the granite to remove regular buildup that the dry cloth does not remove. This is often all you will need to do to clean the granite on a regular basis.

Spray a non-toxic stone cleaner onto the granite as needed when a damp cloth does not clean the granite to your satisfaction. When shopping, select a product that is labeled as non-toxic, chemical-free or biodegradable.

Wipe the stone cleaner off of the granite with a damp cloth.

Dry the granite with a dry dish towel to restore shine and remove moisture.

Do not use dish soap to clean the granite, as it will dull the finish and leave behind an unattractive film.
