However, most of these forums allow for users to link accounts to Xbox 360 or Playstation Network accounts–this allows the company to see someone’s overall gaming experience–which is required to be considered for beta testing.
  • To save money, many companies offer beta position to high-ranked players within a particular game’s franchise. While these will not make you money, they do give you bragging rights over your friends.
  • It is not advisable to attempt to become a beta tester for profit. While paid positions are available, it is harder to become a professional beta tester than it is to become a professional athlete.
