1
Begin with a clean deli slicer. After using the slicer each time, wipe it down with a moist cloth and dry thoroughly. You will wipe away any food left on the blade and prevent the next cut from being contaminated.
-
2
Remove the meat from the package. Take off the plastic wrapping near the sink, as juices from the meat may tend to drip when removed. Remove any paper or plastic wrappings from the meat.

3
Place the meat into deli slicer's tray, adjusting with the provided clamp to keep the meat secure, and turn the machine on. Choose the desired thickness of the cut by twisting the selector knob near the tray.
-
4
Select whether you want the slicer to be on manual or automatic once you select thickness. With the automatic setting, the slicer will move the tray back and forth across the blade, cutting meat at your desired thickness. For the manual option, place your hand on the provided meat lever and move up and down over the blade, cutting the desired amount of meat. Keep hands away from the blade at all times while cutting and make sure blade guard is in place, as it is very sharp.
-
5
Turn off the machine once you have your desired amount of meat. Wipe down the blades with a clean, moistened cloth, and turn the thickness selection knob back to zero for the next use.
