How to Use Zune HD Radio
The Zune HD allows you to play not only FM radio but high-definition (HD) radio as well. HD radio stations broadcast music in a clearer, sharper format, similar to HD television, but with audio only. Many radio stations are beginning to broadcast in both standard and HD. With a Zune HD, you can take advantage of both without the need to buy a special radio in addition to an MP3 player. If you have a Zune HD AV dock, you can also receive HD radio through your home stereo.

Turn on your Zune HD.

Tap “Radio” on the touch screen. You must be on the main menu. Back out of any menus or screens you are currently on to view the main screen.

Press and hold the tuner band, located under the frequency.

Scroll left or right to select stations.

Look for stations marked “HD1,” “HD2” or "HD3." These signify the station broadcasts in HD.

Tap the HD station to select it.
