2. If your table only shows you the number of dollars per GBP pound, you can derive the number of GBP pounds per dollar by dividing the number one by the number of GBP pounds per dollar. If your table already shows you the number of GBP pounds per dollar, you can skip step two.

3. Multiply the number of dollars you have by the number of GBP pounds per dollar number you arrived at in steps one and two. This will give you the number of GBP that you have.

• You can use an online converter as an alternate method. Type in the number of dollars you have then click the appropriate button, which typically reads “okay” or “calculate.” The converter will then display the number of GBP you have.
