How to Sell Pokemon & Yu Gi Oh Cards

Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh are popular trading cards. And like many collectible cards, people may buy a bunch of cards and then stop doing anything with them as they lose interest. However, if you have a supply of cards of either kind you may be sitting on some spare cash, depending on which ones you have and what condition they're in.

Instructions

1. Examine your cards. Cards that have creases, bends or stains are not cards that collectors or players will be interested in. Cards should have no whitening on the outside, and generally speaking, cards should be printed in English if you're selling in an American market.

2. Check the prices for the cards that you have. There are price guides in collectible card magazines, and you can check for guides in books in the collectibles sections of bookstores or libraries. You could also search the online sites where your cards are for sale to get a feel for prices.

3. Find dealers who are willing to buy your cards. Local comic shops may be willing to buy unique cards—rare prints or holofoils—but rarely are these shops willing to buy common or bulk cards. You could go to online auction sites and put your cards up for bid there. Selling them in sets works best if they're common.
