How to Clean Hardwood Cabinets
Hardwood is a traditional cabinetry option that will withstand years of use along with several changes of your kitchen decor. The cabinets give you storage space, which allows you to safely place dishes and other kitchen tools while keeping them out of sight. Wipe your hardwood cabinets with a dry cloth occasionally when you notice dust accumulation.

Run a cleaning cloth under warm tap water and wipe over cabinets with slight grease or oil buildup.

Pour 1 qt. water and 2 drops dish soap into your sink.

Place a cleaning cloth in the soapy water then wring out. Wipe this cloth across your hardwood cabinets in even stroke movements that follow the direction of the hardwood grain.

Allow the cabinets to air dry.

Treat the hardwood occasionally with an oil soap designed for use on hardwood. Soak a cleaning cloth in the oil soap and rub across the hardwood cabinets in the direction of the hardwood grain. Let the cabinets air dry after applying the oil soap.
