MP music player

Your computer can download music to MPs, or MPEG music players, such as an MP3 player or MP4 in order to listen to the music there. The native program Windows Media Player allows you to transfer music from your computer to such a portal music device. This program is already ready to go on any computer that runs the Windows operating system. It will transfer the music over your player's USB cable.

Instructions

    • 1

Connect the USB cable that came in your player's packaging from the player to your computer's USB port, which will be in the back of the computer.

    • 2

Click the "Sync" tab in Windows Media Player.

    • 3

Open the folder your music files are in, such as "My Music." Click and drag this music from this folder to the "Sync List" in the Sync tab in Windows Media Player.

    • 4

Click "Start Sync" to begin downloading music to the player.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't have music on your computer already, you can buy and download some from the website iTunes (see Resources).
