How to Get Gold & Silver Scrap
Gold and silver can be made into beautiful jewelry and artwork, from modest bracelets to elaborate frames for art pieces. Many jewelers purchase gold or silver scrap to eventually melt down, shape and form a variety of jewelry pieces. Scrap gold and silver can consist of old or broken jewelry, coins or other pieces not used in a smelting process. The process of buying and using scrap is more affordable than buying these metals in bulk. Scrap gold and silver can be found in many different locations.
