How to Level up My Neopet?

Neopets is an online game in which players can adopt virtual pets to feed, play with and battle. At higher levels, Neopets are able to learn additional abilities and increase their strength, defense and speed statistics. An increase in statistics can help your Neopet win more battles in the Battledome.

Instructions

1. Visit Coltzan's Shrine in the Lost Desert once every day. Coltzan may grant your Neopet an increase in level or other statistics, or items such as dubloons. However, sometimes he will not grant you anything if you visit the shrine.

2. Complete the Secret Laboratory Map by obtaining all nine pieces. This will give you access to the Secret Lab Ray, which can alter your Neopet's statistics and level, or change its species, color or gender. Use the Secret Lab Ray at your own risk, as there is a chance that your Neopet's level may be decreased. You can use the Secret Lab Ray once every day.

3. Train your Neopet at the Academy on Krawk Island. Use dubloons, a Neopian currency, to train a Neopet that is level 40 and under. You can increase any of your Neopet's statistics, including its level.

4. Train your Neopet at the Training School on Mystery Island. Use codestones to train a Neopet that is level 250 and under. You can also increase any of your Neopet's statistics here, including its level. Training at the Training School is two times as fast as training at the Academy on Krawk Island.

5. Complete Kitchen Quests on Mystery Island. If you successfully finish a kitchen quest, you will be rewarded with an increase in level, statistics or various items.

6. Visit Count Von Roo on Roo Island between 12:00 a.m. and 12:59 a.m. Neopian Standard Time and play a game of Deadly Dice. Your Neopet may be able to gain a level if it rolls a higher number than Count Von Roo. However, if you roll a lower number, he will decrease your Neopet's level.

7. Buy a Terror Trove Scratchcard at Terror Mountain. You may increase your Neopet's level by scratching three of the same icon, but this only happens about 1/8th of the time and is based entirely on luck.

Tips & Warnings

• The Secret Lab Ray may randomly decrease your Neopet's level down to level 1.

• Completing Kitchen Quests may not always increase your Neopet's level. The Flotsam chef may give you items instead of an increase in level.

• If you have more than one Neopet, the Flotsam chef may increase the level of any of your Neopets.
