The Brother MFC 210C not only prints documents, but also scans, copies and sends faxes. Rather than placing the documents you want to fax in a feeder tray on the top of the printer, you will need to lift the top cover on the printer to expose the large pane of glass used for scanning. If you are faxing multiple pages, you will need to image all the pages before starting the fax transmission.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the “Fax” button on the printer’s control panel so that it lights up green. Place the document to be faxed on the scanning glass.

    • 2

Type in the number you are faxing the document to, using the number keys on the control panel. Press the “Black Start” or “Color Start” button on the control panel, depending on if your document is black and white or color.

    • 3

Press “1” if you need to scan another page for the document and replace the paper on the scanning glass. Press “Menu/Set” on the control panel to scan the next page.

    • 4

Press “2” once you have finished scanning all the pages in the document. If you need to stop a fax in the middle of the transmission, press the “Stop/Exit” button on the control panel.
