How to Convert Your Works 4 Calendar to Outlook
The Microsoft Works 4 software suite provides you with basic home productivity software tools to help you to create resumes, letters, clip art and greeting cards. The suite also includes a built-in dictionary, and you can track your household or small-business budget, keep household records and even plan improvements for your home. Works 4 also includes a calendar. You can convert your Microsoft Works 4 calendar to a supported Outlook file to import it into Outlook.

Open Works Calendar and click the "File" menu at the top of the screen. Move your mouse pointer to "Export" and then click on "vCalendar."

Enter the date range of the calendar dates you want to convert and import into Outlook in the "Range" field.

Select the appointments under "Include" that you want to export and then click the "OK" button.

Select the folder location where you want to save the file in the "Save In" box.

Enter the file name in the "File Name" box. Give your file a name that describes the contents of the file. Click the "Save" button.

Start Microsoft Outlook and click the "File" menu. Click "Import and Export."

Select "Import an iCalendar or vCalendar file (.vcs)" and then click the "Next" button.

Browse to the location that contains the calendar file you created in Works Calendar. Choose "vCalendar Format" from the "Files of Type" list.

Click the "OK" button. The Works 4 calendar will be imported into Outlook.
