How to Make Dogpile a Toolbar
With traditional Web searches, you access a search engine, such as Yahoo! or Ask.com, type in your query and review a list of results that this one search engine provides. Dogpile, on the other hand, uses metasearch technology to check your search terms against multiple engines that provide a more comprehensive list of results. If you use Internet Explorer or Firefox for Web browsing, you can add a Dogpile toolbar. Install this toolbar on your Windows, Mac or Linux system to bypass the need to go to the Dogpile website and make searching even more convenient.
