How to Make Flash Cartoon Animations
Learning how to animate visuals in Adobe Flash is a simple process. Becoming skilled and artful at it is something that only comes in time and with a lot of trial and error and practice. Once you understand the basic concepts, it is up to you how far you want to take what you've learned. Animation in Flash can be as varied as any other form of two-dimensional animation ever invented.

Create an oval by clicking and dragging the tool any place on the work area.

Return to Frame 1 and click the return key to watch the animation. The ball moves because the Motion Tween figures out how far the ball moves each frame until it ends up where you moved it to in Frame 30.

Tips & Warnings
Substitute text or drawings for your oval, and you can begin creating simple Flash animations.
Approach each bit of added complexity in your animations with patience. Animation is a field in which you move much faster if you slow yourself down and do things step by step.
