      Unplug your dryer’s power cable from the outlet in your laundry room.

      Pull the dryer away from the wall so you have a good space to work.

      Unclamp the dryer clamp from the exhaust duct.

      Pull the exhaust duct off of the dryer.

      Use a vacuum to clear the exhaust duct. Reattach the exhaust duct to the dryer and plug the dryer back into the wall.
