Creating a motivational card deck to sell does not have to be a difficult task. These card decks encourage people in their daily lives. You just have to decide how many cards you want in the deck. Decide how many cards you want in a deck. A standard deck has 52 cards. This is a good number to fit into a standard card deck box. Make sure the number of cards is small enough to look like a regular deck of cards.

Decide on several themes for the cards if you want to market and sell your cards. For example, you can do motivation for relationships, motivation for your job and inspirational motivations. This will add diversity to your cards and allow you to market more than one deck.

Decide on your inspirational quotes for each theme. You can use basic quotes such as "You are capable of anything." Or you can use inspirational quotations from other people. If you are going to sell the deck, make sure that nothing written on the cards is copyrighted. If you want to use copyrighted quotes, you will need to get permission. Write 52 quotes that you want to use on the cards before completing them.

Type your quotes into the computer. You can use the table format to separate them so they are already in the format that you want. Use a decorative font such as Lucida.

Use a paper cutter to cut the cards or get them cut professionally. Laminate the cards after you have cut them. This will help them to look more professional.

Place the cards in a card box so they look like a real deck of cards. Then market the cards by going to small downtown stores and see if they will carry them. Many eclectic stores are willing to carry motivational decks of cards. You can take several decks into the store and get an order from them. Then continue to make however many decks are on the order.
