How to Make the Trade Mark Symbol
The trademark symbol is a universal identifier consisting of the letters TM in superscript. The ™ symbol appears immediately after a word, phrase, slogan, name, symbol, device or design to indicate and distinguish a particular product or brand from others. The Nike name and phrase "Just Do It," and McDonald's golden arches are examples of trademarks that help audiences identify a product and brand. The ™ symbol acknowledges an unregistered trademark that is claimed but does not have any legal status. The symbol is used to warn potential infringers that the trademarked item has been claimed for branding purposes. The trademark symbol is easily made with any computer using a unicode command.
