How to Download Google Music
Google has enhanced search results to allow users to successfully find music and musicians that they are interested in purchasing and learning more about. Users can search for music by entering the song title, artist name or even lyrics to the song. If Google can successfully find music that matches the entered search criteria, a list of results will appear including the first results from Google partners, such as MySpace and iLike, that will enable you to purchase and download music.

Go to Google Music and enter in the artist name, song title or song lyrics. If entering the artist name alone, only the artist's few most popular songs will be listed. If entering lyrics, type in a phrase or two. The entire song does not have to be entered. Click on the "Search for Music" button.

Select one of Google Music's search results. Those results specifically associated with Google Music can be distinguished because they are the first few results, have a "play" button in front of the song title and are usually aligned with an image of the artist. When a song is clicked, it will play in a pop-up window.

Click "Buy MP3" in the pop-up window. You will be redirected to iLike.com, a Google partner.

Enter the "Login" user name and password or select "Sign up." Signing up requires an email address, password and name. Once the account is complete, go to your account page.

Enter the artist name, song title or lyric in the iLike search field and press the search button. iLike doesn't save the previous Google search criteria, you will have to search again. As an alternative, go directly to iLike and search for the song.

Select the "Buy" button next to a result that matches the search criteria.

Complete the purchase. Enter the debit or credit card account number, full name, address and accept the terms and conditions. Or select the "PayPal" option and enter the PayPal account information to purchase the song. Click "Buy Song" and the song will download to the computer.
