How to Install a RAM Memory Chip on an IBM T23
The Thinkpad T23 is a laptop computer from IBM. Shut down the computer and unplug it. Flip it upside down and remove the battery by sliding the battery release latch and pulling the battery out of the computer.

Unscrew and remove the memory module cover, located next to the battery release latch on the bottom of the computer.

Remove any currently installed memory modules by spreading the latches apart that hold them in place, lifting up the modules and pulling them out.

Install your new memory by inserting each module into an empty slot and pressing down until the latches click into place.

Screw the memory module cover back in, insert the battery and plug in the computer.
