After removing tile from a bathroom wall or kitchen backsplash, you are sometimes left with leftover ceramic tile glue stuck to the wall. In order to install new tile, the old glue must be removed first. This can be challenging if the glue has hardened and will not budge no matter how much force you use while attempting to scrape it off.       Apply an adhesive remover to soften the hardened glue. Removers are available as a paste or liquid. Paste removers are more effective for walls. Soy-based removers usually need to set longer than chemical-based removers. Read the instructions for the length of time the remover needs to work.
