How to Make Photo Button Pins

Photo button pins can make a personal statement.

From showing your support for a politician to showing off your flair, photo button pins are an inexpensive way to make a statement. They can also be used as party favors or personalized gifts. Clear, plastic buttons come in a variety of sizes and can be purchased at most craft stores or in bulk quantity online.

Things You'll Need

• Clear photo buttons
• Pictures
• Pencil
• Ruler
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Separate the clear tops from the bottom of the buttons by popping or snapping them off.

2. Place the clear top on the image you want in the button, and trace around the picture with a pencil, then cut to size the pictures properly. If you are printing pictures, measure the top of the button with a ruler to determine the size of the picture needed.

3. Place each picture face down into the clear top, making sure the edges are trimmed.

4. Snap the metal back on the clear top.

Tips & Warnings

• Keep in mind the pictures will fold up a little along the edge when the button is put together, so don't print words too close to the edge.
