SanDisk flash drives are portable memory devices that allow an easy method of transferring data from one device to another. These flash drives connect to the USB ports on a PC and are automatically recognized for quick and easy use. Flash drives are available in a variety of memory capacities, depending on your needs.

Instructions

      Locate a USB port on the PC to confirm you can use the device.

      Use your thumb to push the lever on top of the flash drive forward. This extends the USB male end.

      Insert the male end into the USB port on the PC. You will hear an audible sound played on the PC and see a dialog box.

      Click “Next” on the dialog box.

      Click in the circle next to “Accept” on the license agreement.

      Click “Next” to finish.

      The flash drive will now be listed in the computer's list of drives. To see the list, in Windows XP, navigate to “Start,” then click on “My Computer.” For Windows Vista and Windows 7, navigate to “Start,” then click on “Computer.”
