How to Make the Best Bathroom Shower Cleaner

Save

Making your own shower cleaner saves both a trip to the grocery store as well as spending money on expensive shower cleaners that are not always as effective as you would like them to be. By making your own shower cleaner, you will also eliminate the need for the harsh chemicals found in many commercial bathroom cleaners.

Things You'll Need

  • Spray bottle
  • Water
  • Dish soap
  • Vinegar
  • Sponge with scrubber
  • Squeegee
  • Pour 3 cups of water, 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1 tbsp. dish soap into a spray bottle.

  • Spray this homemade cleaner over your entire shower and let a thick coating of the spray sit on the shower surface for 10 seconds.

  • Scrub the shower with a wet sponge and then rinse the shower with clear water.

  • Squeegee the shower after each use, when possible, to minimize buildup.
